About
I was born in the UK and raised within a musical family in Switzerland where I was introduced to the piano, drums and guitar before finally picking up what was to be my primary instrument, the bass, aged 13.
After 15 years abroad, I returned to the UK to study music performance at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) from which I was awarded a Degree in music performance with first class honours by Middlesex University in London. I have since gone on to perform and record with numerous bands, artists, tribute acts and wedding bands all over the country from the pubs & clubs to the main-stage festival slots to 9000 people.
I also offer Music Theory (and more) lessons to any instrumentalists or singers.
As part of all my lessons I offer additional help with:
- Composing & arranging
- Music Theory & Ear Training
- Sight Reading & Transcribing
- Grading/exam systems (e.g. Rockschool in the Uk)
I offer one-on-one lessons to people of all ages from complete beginners who have just started playing to the more advanced player looking to fine tune his/her bass playing ability.
Playing bass should be fun, so with this in mind I tailor all my lessons to the needs of my students. So whether you want to just learn how to play along to your favourite songs, improve your playing and knowledge of music so you can come up with some cool bass lines for your band or if you really want to get serious and learn the ins and outs of the bass, I have something to offer you.
