About

Daniel Wright, trumpeter, brass teacher, and clinician, has a B.M. in music performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Daniel is an active performer and educator in the Greater Philadelphia region. Currently he is the leader of The Swagg Quartet, an instrumental neo-soul band, and he is a member of The Don't Call Me Francis Band, one of the top cover bands in the tri-state area. Daniel has performed at various theaters in Philadelphia such as The Academy of Music, The Forrest Theatre, and The Arden Theare. In addition to running his own private studio in Bucks County, Daniel teaches at a number of music schools in the region, including Settlement Music School, and is a teaching artist for Tune Up Philly.

I teach every level of trumpet, as well as beginner and intermediate trombone and French horn players. I fully believe that first and foremost we, as teachers, should take an individualistic approach to each student.
