About Keeping Up With Clarinet - Level 1 [Unpublished]
This eight week course will go in depth to give new clarinet players various tools to achieve successful growth in their playing. This class will focus on producing a clear tone, working with reeds, speeding up technique, learning scales, working on articulation, choosing the right music and more! Clarinet players who attend the class are encouraged to bring their clarinets to try the various exercises and techniques that are discussed. After each class, a small practice assignment will be given to the students so they can practice the techniques learned on their own.
The class will cover one clarinet topic per week as follows:
Week 1: Tremendous Tone
Week 2: Tremendous Tone (continued) and Reeds
Week 3: Fine Fingers
Week 4: Amazing Articulation
Week 5: Super Sight Reading
Week 6: Scales
Week 7: Perfect Practice
Week 8: Rightful Repertoire
This class is limited to 30 students.

The class will meet for eight weekly 30-min live online sessions on Tuesdays at 6 pm ET | 3 pm PT | 22:00 UTC on the schedule below. The first session is on October 5.

How It Works
Students can connect to the online platform using a tablet or computer with reliable internet. To actively participate online students also need a webcam with microphone. The class is covered by the Lessonface Guarantee.
