DIY Recording Camp
Teach students about how to use their own devices or their parents' devices to create their own mixes of their own music using accessible DAW's such as Reaper, Garage Band or the trial run of Ableton Live (which is free for 30 days).
Camp Schedule
This camp starts July 13 and will meet thrice a week on the following schedule:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 10 am EDT | 7 am PDT | 14:00 UTC
July 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, and 24
Each camp day campers will meet for two 45-minute sessions with their counselors and fellow campers with a 10-minute break between parts. Campers can also attend other activities on Lessonface that will be just for campers, including a talent show.

How It Works
Students can connect to the online platform using a tablet or computer with reliable internet. To actively participate online students also need a webcam with microphone. This camp is capped at 50 students. The camp is covered by the Lessonface Guarantee.

ABOUT ANJALI KUMAR
My name is Anjali. I am an experienced music teacher in guitar, piano, voice, and music mixing. I have mostly taught beginner classes in all three instruments but am open to teaching intermediate classes. For the past year I was foucsing on touring and playing music gigs around Europe and the USA and am happy to share my experiences as an indie artist though I am still young and learning the craft of this career. I love mixing and recording as well and am happy to share what I know about sound production. I am from central New Jersey originally and have moved to Brooklyn before the outbreak of COVID-19. Before this I went to college at Smith College in Western Massachusetts and then taught english in Spain for a year.
