Getting Started With Chords
About Getting Started With Chords
"Curious about chords? Come learn about how to build a chord (also known as a triad) and the intervals you can use to create one! Triads are so omnipresent in all styles of popular and classical music so understanding and hearing them is essential! In this course, you will learn how to build any triad from scratch (using intervals) and how to recognize them (assessing the sound and ""feeling"" that arises upon hearing them).
They will also be exposed to a wide repertoire of music (different genres, styles, and music regions) through audio examples, focusing their attention on different layers of the music (melody, harmony, bass line) to listen for different types of triads."
