ABOUT DIXIE ORTIZ

Hi! My name is Dixie and I have played the violin/viola for 12 years. I have been teaching music lessons/classes for over 5 years, and I have also taught beginning to intermediate orchestra classes over the course of my undergraduate studies. I recently completed my bachelor's in music education (instrumental) at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and now I am an orchestra teacher at an elementary/middle school. I love teaching music, and I would be honored to be your violin/viola tutor. I hope we can get started soon!

STUDENTS SAY

Really excellent! Communicated so well with my student. I could see a big difference in the song she was practicing by the end of the lesson. And she needed very enjoyable for her too! My daughter is looking forward to working with her.
