STRINGpalooza: A Fun and Friendly Masterclass for Kids

This class is an e-opportunity for all string players to perform for their peers and receive instructive feedback, as well as learn from watching others! It will be held in masterclass format, dividing the given time between the number of participants. Each participant will perform their piece and have time to work with the instructor. The chosen piece can be any level and should be prepared enough to play through the entire piece or a predetermined section.

How It Works

Students can connect to the online platform using a tablet or computer with reliable internet. To actively participate online students also need a webcam with microphone. This live online class is capped at 20 students. The class is covered by the Lessonface Guarantee.

Emily Martins holds degrees in Music Education and Performance and is currently a student at the Northwest Institute of Voice. She is currently on the music faculty of Ouachita Hills College where she directs the choir and orchestra and teaches voice, violin and viola. She has also been the assistant of the New York All City orchestra.
