Divide and Conquer - Deconstructing Double-Coated Fleece with Meagan Condon

About Divide and Conquer - Deconstructing Double-Coated Fleece with Meagan Condon

Double-coated fleeces have everything; a different fiber for every occasion! They’re the holy grail of spinning, if you can unlock the secret of how to separate them. In this class, we will look at how to efficiently separate the softer undercoat from the coarser outer coat. We’ll have the opportunity to sample different breeds and different tools. Which tools work best: carders, combs or your bare hands? You’ll have to try them and decide for yourself!
