Fun and Fabulous Felt Bag with Dawn Edwards

About Fun and Fabulous Felt Bag with Dawn Edwards

In this fast-paced half-day class, we will create a small wet-felted bag. This bag is the perfect size to tuck your cell phone, a credit card and a lip balm, for a night at the theater or a concert, and those outings where you don’t want to carry a large bag.
This class is a great intro into wet-felting. Some techniques that you will learn include the making of a strong felt cord (for your shoulder strap), and how to make a seamless, hollow form by wet-felting around a resist. Felting around a resist is the foundation for creating hats, slippers, garments, etc. Using the techniques learned in this class, you will be able to design larger bags for future use. Join Dawn Edwards for this class and walk away with not just a bag, but a piece of wearable art created with your own hands.
