About Indian Classical Vocals - Hindustani Voice
In this class, students will learn the basics of Hindustani classical singing, discovering what makes this style unique. They will be introduced to the concepts of thehraav (stability in notes), Murkhis and khatkas (short quick runs), Raag (different scales), Aalap (Improvisation in a particular scale) and much more. By delving into this genre, students will understand what kind of foundation they need to enhance their vocal skills and explore the intricacies of technique and expression.
