Intro to Broom Making: Turkey Wing Whisk Broom

Intro to Broom Making: Turkey Wing Whisk Broom with Nam Joti Kaur Khalsa

Learn to weave an old traditional Appalachian style whisk broom! Whisk Brooms are handheld tools for the home and can be used in many different ways, from sweeping up small messes to dusting mantles and countertops. In this hands on class, each participant will learn to weave with broom corn and cord to create a finished whisk broom with the option to also weave a small pot scrubber.
