Mini Socks

About Mini Socks with Kira Dulaney

Learn the basics of knitting top-down socks in an afternoon by making an adorable mini sock! Knitting in the round starting at the cuff, you’ll knit a heel flap, turn the heel, work a gusset, then taper and graft the toe.

This Fiber Arts Seminar is offered as part of the 2021 Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival and is limited to 20 students.

Class Materials Needed

50 yards DK or worsted weight yarn, double-pointed needles in size that gives a firm fabric, likely US size 3-5, stitch marker. Note: if either magic loop or 2 circular needles is your preference for knitting small circumferences in the round, you may do that instead of using double-pointed needles.
