Amazing teacher for a many reasons: 1. Has an amazing mix of knowledge and charisma, as a beginner things can sometimes feel overwhelming, and it's rare to find a teacher that can offer both instruction, but have you leave with a smile as well. 2. Rod came to the lesson with a lesson plan in place, based off of our prior messages. 2. He offered easy to understand answers to questions I thought would be very complicated. 3. He smoothly deviated from the lesson plan further to head down a more focused path to help me reach my goals after we talked a bit more. 4. You could feel his enthusiasm for music in general, and more especially teaching. 5. Makes himself available outside of lessons to answer questions or further explain ideas. Overall, Rod's lessons are fantastic experience, I would recommend them to everyone.
