Summer and Winter in Fiberworks
About Summer and Winter in Fiberworks
Summer and Winter is a block method of designing and weaving, and the basics of it will be explained to you so that you can work out your designs and drawdowns on four shafts in Fiberworks. You will be invited to make your own designs for homework. If you wish, you can even weave samples between classes to integrate the material.
The capacity for this class is 20 students.
Class Materials

- Please note that I will be using Fiberworks Silver for Windows during the course demonstrations. For Mac users, the course notes will indicate which menus to use.

Maryse Giroux
Maryse Giroux was introduced to weaving and this art allows her a wide range of creation. She also has a background as a chartered professional accountant which leads her to analyze and want to understand how to design textiles. This thirst for learning has led her to follow several training courses in Quebec, Ontario and even in the United States.
