Kitchen Beats: Free Class for Kids!

No musical instruments at home? No problem! Head to the kitchen. All you need is some pots, pans, salt & pepper shakers, and a pair of spoons and we promise we’ll create the coolest virtual kids-band ever. At the same time, we’ll be traveling with Gregorio Uribe through Colombia, one of the most musically exciting countries in Latin America, and learning some home percussion skills.

You’ll need:
 1 pot
 2 spoons (wooden spoons preferred)
 1 pair of salt & pepper shakers (or any type of shakers)
 1 fork
 1 cheese grater

How It Works

ABOUT GREGORIO URIBE

Gregorio Uribe is a singer-songwriter and accordionist who has presented his music with the same passion and tenacity at Carnegie Hall and Madison Square Garden as he has in the streets of Tierra del Fuego or the patios of Montes de María. He has also collaborated and shared the stage with Latin music stars such as Rubén Blades and Carlos Vives, jazz icons like Paquito D’Rivera, and masters of ancestral Colombian music such as Martina Camargo and Diego Obregón.
