I am a qualified jazz, classical and contemporary piano teacher with over 18 years of teaching experience.

At the age of 17, I completed a UNISA grade 8 classical piano qualification (cum laude) and participated in the UNISA Music Scholarship Competition. I obtained a Bachelor of Music (cum laude), majoring in jazz piano performance, and a Master of Music in Musicology.

Having achieved 100% module pass, I tutored aural training for the University of Pretoria. I have been teaching piano, keyboard and theory in person and online to students from ages 5 to 82. I have prepared many students for their ABRSM and Trinity College London music exams and also eisteddfods, for which they have achieved up to 96% pass rates.

Teaching Style

My lessons focus on developing my students' technical, aural, performance, sight reading and theoretical skills, through playing their favorite pieces and songs. I am a very patient teacher who loves working with beginners to advanced level students of all ages.
