About

I am a professional violinist with a great passion for teaching! As a Suzuki teacher, independently from the age and level of the students, my main aim is to create a comfortable and positive environment in the lessons so everyone can see their talent bloom as much as possible. I truly believe everyone can learn with the proper method and teacher, so I am very organized and dedicated to my students. I mostly try to share the knowledge I know is fundamental for violin playing from the experiences I got from my career as a performer. I have played in many of the main orchestras in Brazil, in Aachen Sinfonieorchester in Germany and now in ADDA Simfónica in Alicante - Spain. I have a Master degree in Violin Performance from Conservatorium Maastricht (The Netherlands).

I have been teaching for more than 10 years now, including private instruction, social projects, music schools and online.

My teaching style is a personal approach to each student, identifying their goals and expectations and helping them organizing their practice accordingly. I work for creating a solid technical base so that musicality can develop. In my perspective, a beautiful sound is the priority, so the learning process must be guided by the bow technique and the ear.  I am very careful about making sure students have a good posture (body, violin, bow hand and arm, left hand and arm) because I know that specific technical difficulties such as vibrato, intonation, articulation and shifting can come from a postural problem. As a teacher, I am constantly investigating strategies to achieve better results in fun and relaxing lessons.

I have a bachelor degree in Music Education and a Master degree in Violin Performance.

Some of the materials I use are:

- Suzuki books

- Sevcik

- Wolfahrt 60 studies

- Mazas

- Kreutzer

- Simon Fischer Scales

and more
