Looking to expand your knitting skills and give your hands a break? This class is for English-style knitters ready to add Continental knitting to their skills toolbox. Whether you're dealing with fatigue or just curious about new techniques, learning Continental can open up new possibilities for comfort and efficiency.

Pre-class Homework
Create two practice swatches: Using either worsted or chunky yarn and appropriate needles, cast on 20 stitches. Knit 8 rows of garter stitch, then 8 rows of stockinette. Do not bind off. If necessary, lightly block to reduce curling.

Advanced beginner (some experience)

Comfortable with basic knitting using the English method and a willingness to try something new. This is not a learn-to-knit session.

Beth has been knitting for over 20 years and is a Level 2 Certified Knitting Instructor. She teaches classes through the Apex recreation department where she loves helping new knitters get started and feel confident with the basics.
