Class Materials

Students will want to provide:
None

Materials kit:
Kit includes a Cynthia Wood Spinner beginner friendly, rim weighted, classic branch size top whorl drop spindle and fiber for learning in class. A student may bring their own spindle provided they contact Cynthia at [email protected] in advance to verify suitability. The fiber-only fee is $7.

Materials kit cost:
$120 (to be paid directly to the instructor at the class)

Cynthia Dianne Haney, a spindle maker, is passionate about teaching people how to spin. She designs spindles and turns them on the lathe to aid students with high quality performance. Enabling students to make the yarn they want with a spindle. Teaching beginner spinners, of all ages and abilities, since 2011.
