Supplies, Equipment & Materials Needed for Class
• A spinning wheel in good working order, 5 bobbins, a lazy Kate, and niddy noddy
• 2 oz of 2 different colored fibers with a high contrast (such as light and dark)
• Cards to label samples, a notebook, a pen
• Students may also find a twist angle and consistency card helpful.

Skill Level
Students should be able to spin worsted method singles to a lace weight consistently on a spinning wheel. They should have plied a yarn.
