About Visible Mending (B)
Visible Mending is a creative way to extend the life of your clothing and household items while embellishing them for a unique look. We will cover decorative embroidery and woven patches using Speedweve looms (or just a needle and yarn). After this class, you’ll look at holes and stains as opportunities rather than tragedies!
Supplies, Equipment & Materials Needed for Class
Embroidery hoop, embroidery needles, embroidery floss or Sashiko thread, scissors, fabric for practicing or items with small holes or stains. Optional: Speedweve style mending loom, 10 yards fingering weight yarn.
Materials Kit
$ - Materials kits are optional. Kits are available (https://kirakdesigns.com/collections/notions-and-tools/products/materials-kit-for-visible-mending-workshop), with two options for embroidery kits and three options for Speedweve mending loom kits.

How It Works
Register and enroll above. Enrollment is not complete until payment is made on the next page, by credit card or Paypal via our secure platform. Enrolled students will receive an immediate email confirmation of enrollment, and on the day before the seminar, a reminder with Zoom link to join the class via email. Students will also be able to join the Zoom sessions from their Lessonface dashboard. Students can connect to Zoom using a tablet or computer with reliable internet. To actively participate online students also need a webcam with microphone.
