Thank you for the very informative video. It is extremely important to avoid excess strain and tension, as you have pointed out at the beginning.
Also, this is literally the first Hanon excersise(same notes) for piano, although the piano teaching of his time wasn't at the level we have today, especially regarding tension/relaxation and avoiding strain.
